This is truly a great quote that makes one think of so much art that is being made today – and probably at any other time – that isn’t born out of true artistic necessity as described by Hopper, and inevitably leads us to boredom. Art is never boring, only its ‘digressions’.

Desde luego comparto lo que dice Hopper y me alegra ver lo mismo en vosotros. No hay nada peor que una obra que no emociona, porque de esto se deduce que no ha registrado emociones, y si ademas ha sido bien realizada…peor aun!

ja ja, tienes razón Sebastián, si está bien realizada pero carente de emoción o al menos de intención de que transmita emoción, el resultado es ‘kitsch’ no arte.
