I love this image from the 1970′s of Hockney in his Paris studio with his painting My Parents and Myself half finished. Hockney did two similar double portrait paintings of his parents around the time he came into crisis with the almost photographic realism that had made him a world famous artist.

Me encanta esta imagen de los años 70 de Hockney en su estudio de París con su pintura My Parents and Myself (Mis padres y yo mismo) a medio terminar. Hockney llevó a cabo dos retratos dobles muy similares de sus padres en esta época, justo cuando entraba en crisis con el realismo casi fotográfico que le había hecho famoso en todo el mundo.

Ya me imagino Annunziata, no pude verla en Bilbao pero he visto algunas de las pinturas en Londres. para mi es de lo mejor que ha hecho.
